Joseph Taff, MD

 

Dr. Joseph Taff was raised and schooled in Brooklyn, New York. He received his Bachelor’s of Science Degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. After teaching mathematics for four years he enrolled in the Free University of Brussels. After obtaining his medical degree he returned to complete his urology residency at Maimonides Medical Center.

Dr. Taff began his practice at the current North Shore Hospital at Forest Hills. There as Chief of Urology, he directed a robust program serving the community of Queens while training chief residents from Beth Israel Medical Center.

Dr. Taff served as president of the executive committee and implemented many patient care improvement initiatives. With his expertise in general urology of adults and children, he offers diagnostic services in all aspects of urology. His office at the Specialty Medical Center at Forest Hills, located on Austin Street, offers state of the art services in a patient friendly congenial atmosphere.
