Robert S. Waldbaum, MD
Robert S. Waldbaum, MD, FACS currently serves as Chairman Emeritus of the Department of Urology at North Shore University Hospital at Manhasset. He is also a Trustee of North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System. He is past-President of the medical staff at North Shore University Hospital at Manhasset. He is past-President of the Urology Section of New York Academy of Medicine and past-President of Brooklyn/Queens/Long Island Urological Association and past-President of NY Section of AUA.
Dr. Waldbaum is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the International College of Urology and the Society of Pediatric Urology. He has served as President of the P.H.O. Board at North Shore University Hospital and on the Board of Directors of the Physicians’ Organization of North Shore Hospital. He is Chairman of the Medical Board at North Shore University Hospital.
Dr. Waldbaum received The National Kidney Foundation of NY/NJ John Kingsley Lattimer Award for excellence in research, teaching and patient care as well as for outstanding leadership in urology. He was also the recipient of the Russell W. Lavengood Distinguished Service Award for the NY Section of the AUA.
